9th Blenheim Festival of Transport, 2014

As in previous years the Blenheim event was held over the Bank Holiday weekend on 24th & 25th August.

On Sunday 24th the weather was kind and thousands of spectators flocked in the see the hundreds of Classic Cars on display.  The Clan Crusaders of Jon Lloyd and Club Chairman Dave Williamson were amongst the Cars on display together with the Hillman Imps of Tony Heathfield, Nigel Weeks, Gethin Lewis and myself.  Many Traders also attended so there was a good selection of food, spares, craft items and clothes on sale.

Unfortunately Monday brought with the rain and this not only kept away the general public but also the Classic Cars with less than a quarter of those displayed on Sunday, however Clan Owners Club Regalia Officer John Slater and his wife Jan drought along their Irish Clan and I took my Yellow Crusader.  Many of the Traders did not return for a second day and the Show closed around 2.30pm.

Despite the British weather it was a good show and one worth considering for 2015.
